5: Cell, by Dryft
Cell is an awesome album by this obscure Industrial Drum & Bass artist.
A good example of the genre, classy drumming, mixed through some distortion, that while it might take a while to get used to, is worth every bit of the wait, and probable headache for not so accustomed ears.

4: White Noise - By Cop Shoot Cop
Cop shoot Cop, one of my favorite bands, and original writers of my favorite song. They used an awesome blend of Noise rock, Total Creepyness, and Black Humor. I recommend anything that Cop Shoot Cop made. This Album however, was one of their lesser successes.




#3: Bad Karma - Blaggers I.T.A.

I don't know how to judge Punk, or Oi, very well. But I know that the Blaggers are awesome.
And thats why this got #3 in my list.

2: In your Eyes - Vortex Involute

I will not post a picture because I think the album artwork is crap.
And I don't think that there has ever been an "official" release of their material.

The first D&B band I got into.

Alright, so I've been thinking about electronic music genres lately,and it occoured to me i totally ignored two very important genres. "Glitch" and "IDM"

While I have also found the awesomeness of Industrial DNB (Which is alot like normal DnB, but it gives you a headache instead of being all chill and stuff)

Oh and there is a genre of Experimental Industrial, which is either the most moronic, or the most awesome thing ever. (RECURSION!)

But yes, actually, It's kind of hard to tell the difference between IDM and Glitch.
They are similar. Glitch is like, a cd skipping. And IDM is like dance music made by people who hate dancing. (AKA Glitch?)

But yes.

So the first thing I have been doing in my pursuit of Pirate Radio, has been listening to Pirate Radio.

Well after a few boring stations.
I suddenly found a station...

I believe I was listening to Nikolas Schreck telling me about the evils of consumerism.

More Random Obcession

And Also The Trees.
What can I say.
Quite a lot actually to our dismay.

If I was a band, I would be And Also The Trees.

So brilliant, quiet, totally unnoticed, and if it is hated by most.

And Also The Trees could be a really big band, but there are a few things that stop it.

1: Their Name.
I love their name, but I'm sure that if they had a name like... "The Other Trees"
or something to that extent, that they would be MANY MANY times more famous.

2: They're recording quality is SHIT. The band is a billion tomes better live.
I have a bootleg that sounds many times better than the actual album work.

3: Their singer had a fucking singing lesson.

However, if any of these things changed... They just wouldn't be "And Also The Trees"

So why do I like them so much if I have all these negative things to say?
Well, I never said that these were bad. I said that that was why they are not famous.

Their lyrics are fucking amazing.
FUCKING AMAZING.

But anyways.

Wave Gothic Treffen

So "Wave Gothic Treffen"
I mentioned it in my post about Frank the Baptist.

Its this big festival for goths.
Some good bands play there.
in 2009 there were 192.

Actually if I really wanted to, I bet I could find some really good bands in the listings. In fact I jsut found out that Frank the Baptist, lead singer of Frank The Baptist has a solo project called Telegram Frank.


And Also the Trees use to play there.
Which makes it... post awesome.
And Also the Trees Are Awesome.
Seriously. You just don't understand.
